Birthday Surprises from Boyfriend

On my 30th birthday, Nori my boyfriend made some surprises for me that turned out to be one of the best night in my life. That night he asked me to join dinner with his friends while on my surprise, he took me to Oakwood apartment where he already booked a room.

"I rent it because it has kitchen so I can cook for you," he said calmly. When I entered the room, I saw on the dinning table there were some various of dishes. He thinks that cooking is a personal thing and he made me western dishes, a skill that he learned while studying English in Manchester. OMG I JUST CAN'T.

After the dinner, the surprises continue. Once I finished shower, he shocked me again with a cute birthday cake with candles light on. This time,,,I CRIED. How sweet he is. And.... it's not over! Apparently it's not enough for him. So later on after we eat the cake, cleaning up, and made our way to bed, I found out something hidden beneath my pillow. And OMG another gift there. He calmly said, "I told my staff to wrap this gift, but turned out it doesn't look like I expected so I wrap this my self". Die...dieeeeee~ Inside the carefully wrapped box, there's a Germany brand watch for me. I once again stopped and smiled, hands to my mouth in surprise and delight. IT WAS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND TOUGHTFUL BIRTHDAY SURPRISE :')

One the nexy day, I have another dinner birthday with my very best friends. Actually, this day is precisely my birthday but Nori is having work so that's why he made the surprise one day before.

My friend gave me a nice black blouse and a book from my favorite author, Haruki Murakami :')

Flashback 2018 - Franz Ferdinand, Boyfriend, to Birthday Blash

So many things last year that I've missed blogging and left undocumented. In beginning of 2018, I started a new job in a new office with bigger responsibility, and it brought tons of challenges at first. I also experienced a massive heart broken, but also found a new lover at the same year. He's super sweet. Every Sunday afternoon he came to my place. We did grocery shopping and he cooked for me :). Malasia Trip - Revisit

Not long after I posted my Malaysia trip that was happened on 2017, I get the invitation to go there again by my friend. Here's my journey story:) Day 1. My flight from Jakarta landed at Kuala Lumpur airport after midnight. At first, I was planned to go to the hotel by KLIA train, but because my flight was delayed for 1 hour and it's already very late, my friend offer to pick me up at the airport and we went straight away to our hotel together by Grab. Off to Gili!

Lombok Island has no shortage of charming beaches, and Gili Trawangan is particularly worth seeking out. In October 2019, I visited there for 4 days. Our flight was late arrived in Lombok. We stayed in Hotel Orizatha, Mataram before heading to Gili Trawangan the next day. =================== Made some quick stop at several spots on our way to Bangsar harbor. We stopped at Pantai Sengigi and Bukit Nipah to find this absolutely gorgeous view. To reach Gili Trawangan, we went by speed boad and it takes 15 minutes. The ticket fare is IDR 85K for each.
