The Magical BROMO

I'm recently spent 3 days in East Java: Surabaya, Bromo and Malang.  Bromo is a beautiful place and worth spending the cold morning there if you are sunrise hunter. (I'm excluded).

That was my second time to go there. Both of them, are great trip because of lovely people I went with. *For Mega, Opik, and the funny Mr Icha, love u guys *kecup*

Yes, I'm not sunrise or sunset lover, so when I got to see the sunrise,  I prefer to shoot the crowds versus that golden moment It’s more interesting to me. But it didn't stop me to shot the yellow sun tho, just to enrich my gallery ;)

Brought Fujifilm X-M1 to Bromo wasn't a wrong choice. Instead of carrying bulky camera which is heavy and actually hamper me from moving around, I choose to bring that entry-level camera (this is what Fujifilm called its positioning).

But despite 'entry-level' category, the mirrorless X-M1 does amaze me, thx to the high quality of Fujifilm X-series and the sharpness Fujinon lens.

(September, 2013. Taken with Fujifilm X-M1 with Fujinon 18-55 mm f/2.4-8 )

Xoxo,

Sha~

Flashback 2018 - Franz Ferdinand, Boyfriend, to Birthday Blash

So many things last year that I've missed blogging and left undocumented. In beginning of 2018, I started a new job in a new office with bigger responsibility, and it brought tons of challenges at first. I also experienced a massive heart broken, but also found a new lover at the same year. He's super sweet. Every Sunday afternoon he came to my place. We did grocery shopping and he cooked for me :). Also in 2018, I attended Asian Games which was held in Indonesia. I watch 2 tournaments: diving and athletic. It was such a fun time! Later in October 2018, I joined office outing to Bali and it was a good trip and perfect bonding time with my team. Last year also become my remarkable year as exactly on my birthday, me and my friend attended Franz Ferdinand concert at GBK, Jakarta. I've long wanted to see their concert as I missed their performance many years ago when they held their first concert in Indonesia. I was genuinely happy because I didn't expect th...

Malasia Trip - Revisit

Not long after I posted my Malaysia trip that was happened on 2017, I get the invitation to go there again by my friend. Here's my journey story:) Day 1. My flight from Jakarta landed at Kuala Lumpur airport after midnight. At first, I was planned to go to the hotel by KLIA train, but because my flight was delayed for 1 hour and it's already very late, my friend offer to pick me up at the airport and we went straight away to our hotel together by Grab.  (At the airport after I landed, I went straight away to Family Mart and found the FRUIT SANDWICH that I've always wanted. Happy~) Day 2.  In the next morning, we're getting ready to depart to Cherating beach, our primary destination. To go to Cherating, we have to take a bus for 4,5 hours. Btw, my friend booked the hotel near the bus station, so we went to the station just by walk. But first, breakfast. Across our hotel, I saw a street vendor which was surrounded by many people so we decided to take a look...

Off to Gili!

Lombok Island has no shortage of charming beaches, and Gili Trawangan is particularly worth seeking out. In October 2019, I visited there for 4 days.                           Our flight was late arrived in Lombok. We stayed in Hotel Orizatha, Mataram  before heading to Gili Trawangan the next day.  =================== Made some quick stop at several spots on our way to Bangsar harbor. We stopped at Pantai Sengigi and Bukit Nipah to find this absolutely gorgeous view.   To reach Gili Trawangan, we went by speed boad and it takes 15 minutes. The ticket fare is IDR 85K for each.            On that day we really didn’t have any plan, so we started walking arond to get a first impression of Gili. And on second day we stayed in Damai Village Hotel which is so-so as I don't like old building or old vibe.  Thankfully on the 3rd...
