Malaysia Trip - An Unplanned One

Every year, my friend travel aboard to spent his holiday. And in 2017, he decided to give a visit to a Catholic high school in Melacca, Malaysia where he used to be a volunteer there. Long story short, me and him agreed to take a short trip to Malaysia. As this is so sudden, and my life was in turmoil at that time, I didn't have any itinerary what to visit there. What matter most is I need to go out from Jakarta and take a break from this chaotic phase of life. Yap, at that time I was at the lowest point in life. Luckily, my friend had lived in Malaysia for over than 3 years and he know quite well about Kuala Lumpur and Melacca. He's really such a good companion. Patient, very caring, and a good tour guide too. As a first timer in Malaysia, I was quite surprised with how clean and organized KL which is much better than Jakarta, especially in term of public transportation. We went to visit some of his favorites places such as  Sun Fong Bak Kut Teh, and...

Bali - Company Outing

I've been visiting Bali seven times but never set my foot in Ubud until 2018 during my outing. Though it's a company trip, but we have many free time and I finally I had a chance to go to Ubud. In such a short time  me and one of my colleague still managed to go to the waterfall, eating babi guling Bu Oka, visit a museum, and went to Seniman coffeeshop. Going back to hotel after eating dinner at Naught Nuri's. We stayed in Anvaya Beach Resort which has direct acess to Kuta beach. It is a fine hotel and we're really fond of it.   Later that night, from the recommendation of my friend, I went to La Favela at Seminyak. It's no doubt become my favorite place in Bali as the music, the ambiance and the place it self are really good. I went there with some friends from CS. They were kind, fun, and we quickly getting along well. The next day, we stroll around, having lunch at Nasi Pedas Bu Andika and go shopping...

Batam - Bintan Trip - A Short Nice Break

"My favorite thing is to go to a place where I've never been". Eventhough the trip to Batam and Bintan was sudden, but the time was perfect. There were lot of  things on my mind at that time that I have to get away for a while. Plus, in Indonesia itself, I have never been traveling outside Java & Bali. The third reason is my friend whom based in Batam, already arranged all the itinerary so I didn't have to worry. "Good things come to those who book flights" (Source: Pinterest) So after some considerations, I booked a flight to Batam. Felt super excited. Here I share you the details of my amazing 3 days in Batam and Bintan. Day 1 Arrived at Hang Nadim (airport) in the afternoon (out of schedule because of the 2 hours delay. Hufft). So i didn't get a chance to visit the town. After picked up by my friend Tyo at the airport, we're heading straight to the Telaga Punggur Airpor to go to Bintan. It only took 1-hour drive...
