Jogja Trip - A Present for My 29th Birthday

Who doesn't love Jogjakarta. A city with so much leisure and kindness. I spent my high school and college Jogja which makes it a plac I call second home. Eventho I've lived there for many years, but on last November I visit the city as a tourist. It means, I went there with complete itinerary and during my visit, I stayed in a guesthoust. Big thanks to my friend, who gave me train tickets as a gift for my  birthday.  1. I arrived at Lempuyangan Station at noon and I was picked up by my friend. Because I starved to death with empty stomach for about 8 hours...we're heading straight to Local Resto (Local Hotel) which is located near Jembatan Merah. Bad choice, i do admit. Both the food and the drink are disappointing. The place it self is a new famous place. Not like the other hotel, the restaurant is located separated from the hotel building. Bangka Belitung Trip - Ending the Year

Suddenly, many people talk about the beauty of Belitung because of the movie called Laskar Pelangi. The island which is located in east Sumatra like a hidden gem that tranformed into one of the most famous destination in Indonesia. And in the end of 2015 I happened to step my foot on those white beach island and take mandatory photoshoot in front of that popular big rocks. We spent 4 days 3 night there. Belitung is such a small island and we spend the times by island hopping, culinary tour, and visiting Andrea Hirata museum (the writer of Laskar Pelangi. IMHO, 4 days to spent in Belitung is more than enough because there's not much things to do there. If I have another chance to go there maybe 2 or 3 days is enough. Btw, in the mood of holiday, here's my recent playlist: Belle and Sebastian - The Party Line Shortstraw - Couch Potato  Shortstraw - Good Morning, Sunshine  Mat...

Have u ever heard about Pulau Macan (Tiger Island) in Kepulauan Seribu? If you haven't heard, this is an eco resort which part of Kepulauan Seribu. Through journalisty duty (again), I went there with other journalist to attend Samsung event (camera product launching). The island is so beautiful and clean and we happened to cross to Pramuka island, which is nearby. For you to who seek a place for honeymoon or just seeking a relaxation island that's not far from Jakarta, Pulau Macan is highly recommended.
