The Great Tokyo Tower (2)

Here some snapshots were taken from inside the tower:

The Great Tokyo Tower (1)

This is definitely a must visit place when in Japan. I captured the tower from the low angle to get the feel of this tall tower.

The tower, which the main function is communication station, has two main observatories at 150 meters and 250 meters. From there, you can see breathtaking city view of Tokyo, you can never forget.

And oh, movie lover, don't you realize that this tower appeared several times in some movies? :)

When you arrive, these two cuties are ready to welcome you in the entrance area. I search in Google, and find out that these two pinkies are the mascot of Tokyo Tower named Noppon. And funny thing is that they are brothers! The one with blue dungarees is the older.

They were born in 1998. Yes, they also have their born date :p. Oh Japan.. :)

Tokyo Tower also has Doraemon museum inside.

There is a small crepes seller in the entrance area. Too bad i did'nt try it, at the time I prefer the ice. Looks promising arent they?

The drinks

 The cones

The tiny flowers.

U can buy beer and take a sit here, still in the entrance area.

This is where u buy the ticket.

The ticket depends on how tall the observatory u choose and whether u are an adult or child.

Me and my friend, Adit spent 820 Yen each to go to the main observatory (150 m). Meanwhile, the special observatory which located in 250 m tall, will cost u 600 Yen each.

Warung Bu Ageng, Yk

Everytime I visit Jogja, I try to come to place I've never visited before and meeting some old pals. This time, i've got a chance to meet my very best old buddies in a new place. Combo!

Actually Dito, my friend suggested me to come to some names but I didnt really excited because some places he has mentioned are serving western food, some food I easily find in Jakarta.

At that time I wanted to eat home cooking food. So after some silly arguments in the car *this is why I love befriend wit' em :p*, there I went, a place called Warung Bu Ageng, owned by the fame Butet Kartaredjasa.

The little road along, brought back memories, because my old work place located beside it.

Anyway, Tirtodipuran street is a little area, famous by galleries, western cafes and budget hotels for tourist. Some people also call this as 'artist area'. The place is not too far from ISI, the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta, which make it makes sense. It's a different air when u got to that place. Very alive, and many cool spots u can get dizzy just to pick one :)

I wish I had taken more photos to show.. It is definitely worth a visit if you missing home cooking food or Javanese food, or simply want to relax with buddies in a cozy place.

Warung Bu Ageng located in Jalan Tirtodipuran no. 13 Mantrijeron, Yogyakarta, about about 15 minute away from downtown, open from Tuesday until Sunday (close on Monday).

Bazzar Art

Being in front of a monitor for hours can be frustrating especially when digging and digging the same subjects.

Am not an artsy, but seeing this kind of pieces, it's indeed a relief.
